Commercial Lines Assistant:
This is a support role assisting our Commercial Lines team on Property and Casualty (P&C) accounts. You will support a team of Commercial Lines Account Managers to service client accounts and help maintain client relationships. The position requires a great deal of verbal, electronic, and other written communication. You will assist the team by providing administrative/operations functions.
Responsibilities:
- Handle and issue Certificate of Insurance requests for the Commercial Lines team.
- Create and send Policy change requests to the carriers associated with Certificate Requests, when required.
- Obtain online documents such as customer billing information, reports, and follow-up claims.
- Handle and follow up on Cancellation Pending-Non-Pay notices, and Reinstatements.
- Run MVR reports when requested.
- Issue and/or assist with auto ID cards, updating drivers, vehicle, and equipment schedules.
- Provide accurate, prompt, and courteous service to the clients.
- Provide general clerical support including answering phones, data-entry and filing as needed.
Successful candidates must be organized, possess excellent communication and computer skills, be a team player, and have a positive attitude. Prior Property and Casualty Insurance experience is a must. Having a New York Property and Casualty Broker license is required. Experience using AMS360 would be a plus. This is a growth position.
