This year's Kick Off Event was a success, even in spite of tropical storms in the forecast! The corner of Main and Market Streets in Saugerties was full of of people enjoying refreshments, crafts, and wonderful entertainment on Saturday afternoon - all for a great cause! A downpour and some lightning paused the party momentarily but, as promised, we were rain or shine! Thank you to all of those that hung in there with us as we got everything back up and running.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed, came to the event, and supported in any way. From refreshment sales, raffle tickets, and the 50/50, we were able to raise $2,078 for the Sawyer Automotive Foundation, which is so amazing!

A huge thank you to Kristal Palumbo from Stewart's for donating ice cream, which was much needed on such a hot day! If you were there on Saturday, make sure to stop in to Store #301 on Zena Road in Kingston to see her and say thank you!

Also, a special thank you goes out to The Xtractions and Mister Kick for providing great music throughout the kick off - even as the skies opened.

Lastly, but certainly not least, thank you so much to the staff of our Saugerties office (Sue Horton, Leatrice Wallach, Jessica Goodrich, and Melissa Salmi) for organizing yet another incredible Kick Off Party! Each year just keeps getting better and better!
