Notice of Data Security Incident

What Happened?

On or around August 11, 2025, we identified suspicious activity within our network. In response, we initiated an investigation and took steps to secure our systems. Additionally, a third-party forensics firm was engaged to assist in the investigation. The investigation determined that a limited number of files may have been accessed during the incident. The Reis Group conducted a thorough review of these files and determined personal information may have been accessed. Letters were mailed to those individuals for which The Reis Group had addresses.

What Information Was Involved?

From the review, it appears that the impacted files may have included individuals’ names, and some combination of the following data elements: addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver or state license numbers, financial account numbers, payment card information, passport numbers, health related financial information, and health information.

What We Are Doing:

We want to assure you that we are taking steps to minimize the risk of this happening in the future. Since the incident, we have changed passwords to user accounts, added additional endpoint detection and protection software, and implemented additional restrictions on its systems, among other measures.

Letters were mailed to individuals for whom The Reis Group has addresses, which contain more information about the incident as well as instructions for enrolling in credit monitoring and identity protection services through TransUnion, the data breach recovery experts.

What You Can Do:

Impacted individuals should be vigilant for the next 12 to 24 months and review credit reports, bank account and other financial statements, and immediately contact their financial institution if they identify suspicious activity.
